HOLLYWOOD—Celebrities and fans alike turned out to celebrate and support world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao for the premiere of the documentary film “Manny,” at the TCL Chinese Theatre Tuesday. Directed and produced by Ryan Moore, the film takes a retrospective look at the boxing champ’s life from his years as a starving teenager to becoming one of the most popular boxers of the decade.
Joining Pacquiao along with his wife, Jinkee, on the red carpet were boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, Chuck Liddell, Christina Milian, Jeremy Piven and Apollo Ohno. Notable Filipino celebrities included comedian Jokoy, first Filipino Olympic skater Michael Martinez, up and coming teen basketball star Kobe Paras and Roshon Fegan.
“Manny” opens in select theaters and on VOD Friday, Jan. 23.
