HOLLYWOOD—Two animated series from DreamWorks Animation and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment are coming to home video Tuesday, Oct. 15.

High-kicking action and fur-flying fun is in store with “Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness—The Scorpion Sting.” This animated TV series is based on the Academy Award-nominated hit movie “Kung Fu Panda.”

He may not be your typical warrior, but Po the martial arts-trained panda packs an arsenal of skills as big as his heart and his stomach. Always ready to fight for what’s right, Po and the Furious Five—Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Crane and Viper—face exotic dangers at every turn, including a pair of magic shoes with an evil “sole,” and Scorpion, one of the sharpest villains in all the land. The DVD includes more than two hours of episodes as well as a game app.

If monsters and aliens are more your speed, get ready for a world of monster mischief and alien antics in “Monsters vs. Aliens: Cloning Around,” an all-new animated TV series inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s hit movie “Monsters vs. Aliens.”

Join team leader Susan, muscle-bound Link, ingenious Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D., and B.O.B., the gelatinous blob, as the residents of the government containment area embark on fun-filled adventures under the not-too-watchful eye of General Monger. The DVD includes a digital version that you can instantly stream and download on various PDAs, as well as a game app.

Also, before she became a serious Oscar contender for her role in the space adventure “Gravity,” Sandra Bullock got her funny on earlier this year with “Mike & Molly’s” Melissa McCarthy playing cops in “The Heat.”

That comedy comes to home video Tuesday via Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The Blu-ray contains two versions: the unrated cut and the theatrical release.

Bullock plays uptight FBI special agent Sarah Ashburn who is paired with foul-mouthed Boston cop Shannon Mullins (McCarthy). They couldn’t be more incompatible, but when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected—friends.

The Blu-ray includes a DVD version as well as a digital version that can be downloaded on various PDAs.

Bonus features include bloopers, deleted, alternate and extended scenes and give commentaries, including director Paul Feig and Mystery Science Theater 3000.
