HOLLYWOOD-Paramount+ hosted an exclusive screening of its upcoming two-part documentary My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story on the Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles on Thursday night, drawing industry guests, friends, and supporters for an intimate evening centered on survival and storytelling. Star Eva LaRue and her daughter Kaya McKenna Callahan were in attendance, joined by See It Now Studios president Susan Zirinsky, who later moderated a post-screening Q&A.

The documentary chronicles LaRue’s real-life ordeal with a convicted stalker who targeted her and Callahan for more than a decade. Produced by Zirinsky’s See It Now Studios, the project marks one of Paramount+’s most personal true-crime offerings to date, blending investigative reporting with deeply emotional first-person accounts.

During the Q&A, LaRue spoke candidly about transforming trauma into advocacy. “It was the most difficult story I’ve ever told,” she said. “But if sharing it helps even one person feel less alone, then it’s worth it.”

Callahan reflected on what it meant to revisit those years alongside her mother. “There’s a strange healing that comes from confronting the truth publicly,” she said. “We wanted to reclaim our story — on our own terms.”

Zirinsky praised the pair’s courage and openness. “Eva and Kaya’s willingness to go there emotionally is what makes this documentary so powerful,” she said. “It’s not just about survival; it’s about the resilience of family.”

Attendees mingled with producers, creatives, and invited guests at a small reception following the Q&A, where early reactions to the documentary were overwhelmingly positive.

My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story premieres exclusively on Paramount+ later this month.
