Bone Cold (Thriller)

The hunter becomes the hunted in the pulse-pounding action thriller “Bone Cold,” debuting on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Tuesday, June 13, from Well Go USA Entertainment.

After bad intel from headquarters results in a tragic civilian death, an elite sniper duo attempts to flee the area — but can’t seem to shake a mysterious, inhuman creature stalking them from the shadows. Time is running out as the creature is closing in.

The first feature film for writer/director Billy Hanson, “Bone Cold” stars Jonathan Stoddard (“Falling for a Killer”), Matt Munroe (“Independence Day: Resurgence”), Trinity Bliss (“Avatar: The Way of Water”), Jennifer Khoe (“Fear Frequency”), Shaan Sharma (“The Chosen”), Elise Greene (“Torn: A Wicked Trilogy”) and newcomer Danielle Poblarp. Bonus content on the release includes a making-of featurette, a blooper reel and the film’s trailer.

John Wick: Chapter 4 (Action, Crime, Thriller)

Old friends and new foes come together when “John Wick: Chapter 4” arrives on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD Tuesday, June 13, from Lionsgate. The film is also now available on Digital.

John Wick (Keanu Reeves, “The Matrix” franchise) uncovers a path to defeating The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe, and forces that turn old friends into foes.

Having grossed a franchise-best $400 million-plus at the global box office, “John Wick: Chapter 4” is directed by Chad Stahelski (the “John Wick” franchise) and written by Shay Hatten (“Army of the Dead”) and Michael Finch (“Hitman: Agent 47”). The high-action thriller not only features franchise regulars Laurence Fishburne (“The Matrix” franchise), Lance Reddick (“Lost”) and lan McShane (“Deadwood”), but also welcomes Donnie Yen (“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”), Bill Skarsgård (the “It” franchise), Hiroyuki Sanada (“Avengers: Endgame”), Shamier Anderson (“Race”), Rina Sawayama (“Turn Up Charlie”) and Scott Adkins (“Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday”). Bonus features on the release include two theatrical trailers as well as 11 featurettes: “Chad and Keanu: Through Wick and Thin,” “Train Like a Killer,” “Making a Killing,” “The Psychology of a Killer,” “The Blind Leading the Fight,” “Suit Up/Shoot Up,” “Packing a Punch,” “One Killer Shot,” “Killing at the Speed of Traffic,” “A Shot in the Dark” and “In Honor of the Dead.”

The Pope’s Exorcist (Horror, Thriller)

“The Exorcist” meets “The Da Vinci Code” in “The Pope’s Exorcist,” releasing on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, June 13, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film is also now available on Digital.

Inspired by the actual files of Father Gabriele Amorth, chief exorcist of the Vatican, “The Pope’s Exorcist” follows Amorth (Academy Award winner Russell Crowe, “Gladiator”) as he investigates a young boy’s terrifying possession and ends up uncovering a centuries-old conspiracy the Vatican has desperately tried to keep hidden.

“The Pope’s Exorcist” comes with two special features on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital: “Introducing Father Amorth” and “What Possessed You?”

Sakra (Action, Adventure)

Action icon Donnie Yen returns to the director’s chair for the first time in nearly two decades, while also playing the lead role, in the martial arts wuxia adventure “Sakra,” debuting on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, June 13, from Well Go USA Entertainment. The film is also now available on Digital.

Based on the classic wuxia novel “Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils” by Louis Cha (known worldwide by his pen name Jin Yong), “Sakra” stars Yen as Qiao Feng, a respected leader of a roving band of martial artists called the Beggars’ Sect. After he is wrongfully accused of murder and subsequently exiled, Qiao Feng goes on the run in search of answers about his own mysterious origin story — and the unknown enemies working to destroy him from the shadows.

With action direction by Kenji Tanigaki (“Raging Fire,” “Enter the Fat Dragon”), “Sakra” also stars Yuqi Chen (“The Princess Weiyoung”), Eddie Cheung (“Throw Down”) and Yase Liu (“I’m Livin’ It”). Bonus content on the release includes a making-of featurette and the film’s trailer. Cantonese, Mandarin and English language tracks are also available.

TV Shows

Tulsa King: Season One (Crime, Drama)

Starring three-time Academy Award nominee Sylvester Stallone (“Rocky,” “Creed”), the first season of Paramount+’s hit series “Tulsa King” is now available on Digital, DVD and Blu-ray as well as a limited-edition SteelBook from Paramount Home Entertainment.

Created by Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan (“Hell or High Water”), who also serves as executive producer alongside Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Terence Winter (“The Wolf of Wall Street,” “The Sopranos”), “Tulsa King” follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) as he’s released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a crew from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.

In addition to Stallone, the first season features a critically acclaimed ensemble cast including Andrea Savage (“I’m Sorry”), Martin Starr (“Silicon Valley”), Jay Will (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”), Max Casella (“The Tender Bar”), Domenick Lombardozzi (“The Irishman”), Vincent Piazza (“Boardwalk Empire”) and A.C. Peterson (“Superman & Lois”), with Garrett Hedlund (“The United States vs. Billie Holiday”) and Dana Delany (“Body of Proof”).

Audiences can dive deeper into the criminal empire with more than 90 minutes of bonus content on the release, including six never-before-seen featurettes: “Stranger in a Strange Land: Genesis,” “Carpe D.M.: Stallone,” “Mercy and Malice: The Cast,” “Haberdashery: Costume Design,” “Outthink Your Enemy: Stunts” and “The Here and Now: On Location in Tulsa.” Viewers can take a closer look at planning action-packed and safe stunts, how costume design enhances the characters and the differences between shooting in Brooklyn and Tulsa, as well as listen to the cast and crew discuss the different dynamics of the show’s plot and setting and working with Sylvester Stallone. A “Behind the Story” is included for all nine episodes, too.
