The Fantastic Four: First Steps (Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi)
One of the Top 10 highest-grossing films of 2025 both domestically and globally, Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is now available to own on Digital. The film arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal, “The Mandalorian”); Sue Storm, a.k.a. the Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby, “The Crown”); Johnny Storm, a.k.a. the Human Torch (Joseph Quinn, “Stranger Things”); and Ben Grimm, a.k.a. The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach, “The Bear”) — is introduced as they face a daunting challenge. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god and his enigmatic herald.
The Digital, 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray releases of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” feature plenty of exciting bonus features, including five deleted scenes (“Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen,” “Fantastic Four Day,” “Subterranea,” “Birthday Sweater” and “Taking Turns”), an almost 3-minute gag reel, a filmmaker commentary by director Matt Shakman (“WandaVision”) and production designer Kasra Farahani (“Loki”), and three behind-the-scenes featurettes. Viewers can hear Shakman and the cast explain how they found themselves gravitating toward each role and creating the ultimate family unit in “Meet the First Family;” listen to the filmmakers discuss the process of immersing the cast and crew in the film’s retro-futuristic aesthetic in “Fantastic Futurism;” and see how the film’s crew brought complex characters like the larger-than-life Galactus (Ralph Ineson, “The Creator”) and the grounded Harvey Elder/Mole Man (Paul Walter Hauser, “Richard Jewell”) from page to screen in “From Beyond and From Below.”
