Avatar: The Way of Water (Action, Adventure, Fantasy)
Return to Pandora with the emotionally packed action adventure “Avatar: The Way of Water,” now available to own on Digital from 20th Century Home Entertainment.
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” launches the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they endure. All of this happens against the breathtaking backdrop of Pandora, where audiences are introduced to new Na’vi cultures and a range of exotic sea creatures that populate the majestic oceans.
Nominated for numerous Academy Awards and the recipient of Best Achievement in Visual Effects, the James Cameron-directed film has earned more than $2.2 billion worldwide. Produced by Cameron and his longtime partner Jon Landau, the Lightstorm Entertainment production stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis and Kate Winslet. Joining the illustrious adult cast are talented newcomers Britain Dalton, Jamie Flatters, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Bailey Bass and Jack Champion.
Fans can add the third highest-grossing film of all time to their digital movie collection in spectacular 4K Ultra HD quality with immersive Dolby Atmos audio. Plane (Action, Adventure, Thriller)
From director Jean-François Richet (“Blood Father,” “Assault on Precinct 13”), the white-knuckle action movie “Plane” has landed on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and On Demand from Lionsgate.
In “Plane,” pilot Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler, “300”) saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island — only to find that surviving the landing was just the beginning. When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter, “Luke Cage”), an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI. In order to rescue the passengers, Torrance will need Gaspare’s help, and will learn there’s more to Gaspare than meets the eye.
“Plane” also stars Yoson An (“Mulan,” “Mortal Engines”), Daniella Pineda (“Jurassic World: Dominion,” “The Vampire Diaries”), Paul Ben-Victor (“Get Hard,” “True Detective”) and Tony Goldwyn (“Ghost,” “Scandal”). Three featurettes are included on the home entertainment release — “This is Your Captain,” “‘Plane’ Clothes” and “Brace for Turbulence” — as well as the film’s theatrical trailer.
Seriously Red (Comedy, Drama, Music)
A celebration of various ‘70s country music artists, including Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, “Seriously Red” is now available on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand from Lionsgate.
Red (Krew Boylan, “Cliffy”) lost her job as a real estate agent, but there’s something no one can take away from her: her dream of becoming the world’s greatest Dolly Parton impersonator! After her act attracts the attentions of an amorous Elvis impersonator (Rose Byrne, “Neighbors”) and a powerful booking agent (Bobby Cannavale, “The Station Agent”), Red is catapulted into the top tier of copycat acts, becoming the onstage and romantic partner of the top Kenny Rogers impersonator. But when Red’s life as an imitator starts to feel false, she discovers true happiness comes when you’re being the best version of yourself.
Written by the film’s star, Krew Boylan, “Seriously Red” features such popular Dolly Parton songs as “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You.” The Blu-ray and DVD come with a single special feature: an audio commentary with director Gracie Otto (“The Last Impresario”).
Star Trek: The Next Generation 4-Movie Collection (Action, Adventure, Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi)
Just in time for First Contact Day on April 5 (the day the Vulcans first made contact with humans), “Star Trek: The Next Generation 4-Movie Collection” arrives on 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and HDR-10 Tuesday, April 4, from Paramount Home Entertainment.
The journey begins with original cast members Kirk (William Shatner), Scott (James Doohan) and Chekov (Walter Koenig) in a story that spans space and time in “Star Trek: Generations,” continuing with a terrifying face off against the Borg in “Star Trek: First Contact,” a dangerous plot against a peaceful planet in “Star Trek: Insurrection” and a familiar old foe returning in “Star Trek: Nemesis.”
Featuring fan-favorite “Star Trek” characters Picard (Patrick Stewart), Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Data (Brent Spiner), La Forge (LeVar Burton), Worf (Michael Dorn), Troi (Marina Sirtis) and Dr. Crusher (Gates McFadden), the 8-disc set includes each film on 4K Ultra HD as well as fully remastered Blu-ray, plus all legacy bonus content and access to Digital copies of each film.
