American Hustle (Crime, Drama)

Nominated for 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, “American Hustle” is now available to own as a limited edition 4K Ultra HD SteelBook from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

The con is on when scam artists and lovers Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale, “American Psycho”) and Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams, “Enchanted”) are entrapped by ambitious FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper, “American Sniper”) and coerced into participating in a major sting operation which hinges on snaring politician Carmine Polito (Jeremy Renner, “Hawkeye”) and his associates. Complicating matters is Irving’s wife Rosalyn (Jennifer Lawrence, “The Hunger Games”), who could bring the whole operation crashing down around them all.

Boasting nearly 15 minutes of never-before-seen deleted and extended scenes, the “American Hustle” 4K Ultra HD disc includes the feature film presented in 4K resolution with Dolby Vision and English Dolby Atmos + 5.1 audio as well as the film’s theatrical trailer. The Blu-ray disc included with the two-disc 10th anniversary SteelBook release includes the movie presented in high definition with English DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio, plus 11 additional deleted and extended scenes and the behind-the-scenes featurette “The Making of ‘American Hustle.’”

Coup de Chance (Comedy, Crime, Drama)

Writer-director Woody Allen’s “Coup de Chance” is now available to own on Blu-ray and DVD from MPI Media Group.

Fanny (Lou de Laâge, “The Mad Women’s Ball”) and Jean (Melvil Poupaud, “One Fine Morning”) look like the ideal married couple — they’re both professionally accomplished, they live in a gorgeous apartment in an exclusive neighborhood of Paris and they seem to be in love just as much as they were when they first met. But when Fanny accidentally bumps into Alain (Niels Schneider, “Heartbeats”), a former high school classmate, she’s swept off her feet. They soon see each other again and get closer and closer.

“Coup de Chance” is presented in French with optional English subtitles.

Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms (Adventure, Drama, Fantasy)

From director Wuershan (“Painted Skin: The Resurrection”), the award-winning epic fantasy “Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms” debuts on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Tuesday, May 28, from Well Go USA Entertainment.

After conspiring with a conniving fox demon to kill the emperor and seize power, King Zhou (Kris Phillips, “The Monkey King 2”) reigns as a tyrant so brutal that he incurs the wrath of Heaven. In a final attempt to save the mortal world from desperate peril, the gods decide to intervene and invest in an unlikely champion brave enough to challenge the evil king — even if it may cost him everything.

Presented in Mandarin, “Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms” also stars Li Xuejian (“The Wandering Earth II”), Huang Bo (“Journey to the West”), Yu Shi (“Born to Fly”), Chen Muchi (“South Sea Tomb”), highly praised newcomer Naran and Ci Sha (“A Date with the Future”). The film won Best Film and Best Supporting Actor (Li Xuejian) at the Golden Rooster Awards, and Wuershan was named Director of the Year by the China Film Critics Association.  Bonus features on the release include an all-new English dub and the film’s trailer.

Naughty (Drama, Romance)

A wealthy developer challenges a beautiful environmentally conscious student to spend a week with him in “Naughty,” now available on Digital from Dark Sky Films and Capelight Pictures.

In order to prevent the construction of a skyscraper in an urban forest, Elja (Anastasiya Reznik, “Identity”), a young environmental activist, accepts a challenge from the mega wealthy developer. If after spending seven days with him she doesn’t fall for him, he’ll stop the project. During this time of luxury and passion, Elja becomes increasingly attracted to him and exploring their sexual fantasies.
