A typical afternoon in the park turns into a nightmare for single mom Karla Dyson (Academy Award winner Halle Berry, “Monster’s Ball”) when her young son suddenly disappears. Without a cell phone and knowing she has no time to wait for police help, Karla jumps in her own car and sets off in pursuit of the kidnappers. A relentless, edge-of-your seat chase ensues, where Karla must risk everything to not lose sight of her own son. In this tense, action-fueled thriller, from the producers of “Salt” and “Transformers,” one mother’s heroic attempt to take back her son leads her to ask herself how far she will go to save her child.
Experience a new age of action and suspense when “Age of Kill” debuts on DVD and Digital Tuesday Oct. 31, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Martin Kemp (Britain’s “EastEnders”) stars in this ticking-clock thriller about a special ops sniper forced to assassinate six targets in six hours on the streets of London in order to win back his kidnapped daughter from a psychotic terrorist known as “Jericho.” Directed by Neil Jones (“We Still Kill the Old Way”), this pulse-pounding movie features a top-notch international cast that includes Patrick Bergin (“Free Fire”), April Pearson (“Tormented”), Nick Moran (“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”), Anouska Mond (“Assassin”), Bruce Payne (“Passenger 57”), Dexter Fletcher (“Kick-Ass”) and Philip Davis (“Mr. Holmes”).
Michael Cera (“Superbad”) and Abbi Jacobson (“Broad City”) head up an ensemble cast in “Person to Person,” which is available on DVD Tuesday Oct. 31. A record collector hustles for a big score while his heartbroken roommate tries to erase a terrible mistake, a teenager bears witness to her best friend’s new relationship and a rookie reporter, alongside her demanding supervisor, chases the clues of a murder case involving a life-weary clock shop owner in this voyeuristic comedy. Shot entirely on 16mm film, “Person To Person” humanizes its characters and evokes an earnest realism in the performances of its cast. Along with Cera and Jacobson, the drama stars Michaela Watkins, Philip Baker Hall, George Sample III and newcomer Bene Coopersmith. A special feature on the DVD includes an interview with writer/director Justin Guy Defa.

Months after saying goodbye to sentient synth Mia (Gemma Chan, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”), the Hawkins family search for some semblance of normalcy. Laura (Katherine Parkinson, “The IT Crowd”) and Joe (Tom Goodman-Hill, “Mr. Selfridge”) attend marriage counseling, even as they grow concerned over their daughter’s (Pixie Davies, “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children”) strange behavior. But when Niska (Emily Berrington, “24: Live Another Day”) arrives at their home unannounced, the family is pulled back into the dangerous lives of the synths.
As synths begin to gain consciousness all over the world, a mysterious organization starts hunting them down. Leo (Colin Morgan, “The Fall”) and Max (Ivanno Jeremiah, “The Hollow Crown”) clash over how to protect the self-aware synths, while a renowned AI scientist (Carrie-Anne Moss, The Matrix trilogy) joins a global tech company preparing to release a revolutionary new product. This provocative, heart-pounding drama also stars Will Tudor (Game of Thrones), Sonya Cassidy (“The Paradise”), and Sam Palladio(“Nashville”). “Human 2.0” is available in a three-disc DVD box set or the two-disc Blu-ray edition.
