Prolific legendary filmmaker Woody Allen revealed the cast of his next feature film today. The untitled project is set to star James Belushi (“The Whole Truth”), Juno Temple (“Black Mass”), Justin Timberlake (“The Social Network”), and Kate Winslet (“Steve Jobs”). The new film is produced by his long-time collaborators Letty Aronson, Erika Aronson and Edward Walson. It is set to begin shooting this fall in New York.
Additionally, Allen is in post-production on his first-ever television show—an untitled six-episode series he wrote and directed for Amazon in which he stars alongside Miley Cyrus and Elaine May. It is set to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video later this year.
Allen’s latest completed film, “Cafe Society,” produced through Amazon Studios and Lionsgate, will release the film in theaters Friday July 15 in New York and Los Angeles with a national theatrical expansion to follow. The comedy stars Jeannie Berlin, Steve Carrell, Jesse Eisenberg, Blake Lively, Parker Posey, Kristen Stewart, Corey Stoll and Ken Stott. After its theatrical run, “Café Society” will be available exclusively to Amazon Prime members through Prime Video.
