The Equalizer 3 (Action, Crime, Thriller)

Denzel Washington returns with a vengeance in “The Equalizer 3,” available on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, Nov. 14, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film will also be available for purchase as a 4K Ultra HD SteelBook release exclusively at Best Buy and is now available to own on Digital.

Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends’ protector by taking on the mafia.

“The Equalizer 3” release boasts several special features, including five featurettes — “Blood Brothers: The Collaboration of Denzel Washington & Antoine Fuqua,” “Call to Action,” “Robert McCall: A Man of the People,” “Denzel and Dakota: A Reunion” and “Postcards from the Amalfi Coast” — and the Jacob Banks’ “Monster” lyric video. Additionally, the 4K and Blu-ray releases add to the extras more than 15 minutes of deleted scenes. A three-film 4K Ultra HD multi-feature is also available for purchase that includes exclusive IMAX-enhanced disc-based presentations of all three “Equalizer” films, with immersive DTS-X audio for “The Equalizer 2” and “The Equalizer 3.”

Love In Taipei (Comedy, Drama, Romance)

The coming-of-age romantic drama “Love in Taipei” arrives on Digital Tuesday, Nov. 14, from Paramount Home Entertainment.

Based on Abigail Hing Wen’s New York Times best-selling book “Loveboat, Taipei,” “Love in Taipei” features rising stars Ashley Liao (“The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”), Ross Butler (“13 Reasons Why”) and Nico Hiraga (“Booksmart”). The engrossing young-adult love story immerses the sheltered young American Ever Wong (Liao) in a whirlwind of first love and self-discovery during a wild, fun and unforgettable summer in Taipei.

The Nun II (Horror, Mystery, Thriller)

Prepare for the next terrifying chapter in “The Conjuring” universe when “The Nun II” debuts on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, Nov. 14, from New Line Cinema. The film is also now available to own on Digital.

France, 1956. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit “The Nun,” “The Nun II” follows Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga, “The Bling Ring”) as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak (Bonnie Aarons, “Silver Linings Playbook”) — the demon nun.

Directed by Michael Chaves (“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”), “The Nun II” also stars Jonas Bloquet (“The Nun”), Storm Reid (“Missing”) and Anna Popplewell (“The Chronicles of Narnia” franchise) and features an ensemble cast of international talent. The 4K UHD, Blu-ray and Digital releases include two featurettes: “‘The Nun II’: Demons in Paradise” and “Handcrafted Nightmares.”

Terms of Endearment (Comedy, Drama)

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the heartfelt drama “Terms of Endearment,” arriving for the first time on 4K Ultra HD as part of the Paramount Presents line Tuesday, Nov. 14, from Paramount Home Entertainment.   

Both critically acclaimed and a box-office blockbuster, “Terms of Endearment” features a powerhouse cast including Debra Winger (“An Officer and a Gentleman”), Shirley MacLaine (“Steel Magnolias”), Jack Nicholson (“One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”), Danny DeVito (“Batman Returns”) and John Lithgow (“3rd Rock from the Sun”). Originally released on Nov. 23, 1983, the enduring classic follows the ups and downs of a mother-daughter relationship with honesty, heart and humor.

James L. Brooks (“As Good as it Gets”) produced, wrote the screenplay (based on the novel by Larry McMurtry) and made his directorial debut with the film, which ultimately earned 11 Academy Award nominations and won for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress in a Leading Role (Shirley MacLaine), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Jack Nicholson) and Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium.

The Paramount Presents release includes the film in sparkling 4K Ultra HD, with a transfer from the original camera negative reviewed and approved by Brooks. The set includes a 4K Ultra HD disc, a Blu-ray disc, access to a Digital copy of the film, as well as a brand-new “Filmmaker Focus with James L. Brooks.” In the newly recorded interview, Brooks reflects on the challenges and excitement that came with being a first-time director, including getting directing critiques from Jack Nicholson. Additionally, he discusses the casting process and the film’s amazing performances. The set also includes a legacy commentary track by Brooks, co-producer Penney Finkelman Cox and production designer Polly Platt, as well as the film’s theatrical trailer.

The Good Fight: The Complete Series (Crime, Drama)

The critically acclaimed sequel to “The Good Wife,” “The Good Fight: The Complete Series” is now available to own on DVD from Paramount Home Entertainment.
