The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It (Horror)
Witness the chilling terror and unknown evil when “The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It” arrives for Premium Digital Ownership and on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday Aug. 24.
It is a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
Directed by Michael Chaves (“The Curse of La Llorona”), the film stars Vera Farmiga (“Annabelle Comes Home,” “Bates Motel”) and Patrick Wilson (“Annabelle Comes Home,” “The Nun”). The film also is available for Premium Digital Ownership.
“The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It” was produced by James Wan and Peter Safran, who have collaborated on all the “Conjuring” Universe films. The film also stars Ruairi O’Connor (“The Spanish Princess”), Sarah Catherine Hook (“Monsterland”) and Julian Hilliard (Wandavision, “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels” and “The Haunting of Hill House”).
“The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It” 4K UHD Combo Pack and Blu-ray contain the following special features: “By Reason of Demonic Possession”—an in depth look at the true story that inspired the movie; “The Occultist,” where viewers meet the terrifying new addition to the “Conjuring” universe; “Exorcism of Fear,” which delves into the making of the movie and the chilling exorcism scene that opens the film; and “DC Horror Presents The Conjuring: The Lover #1,” a video comic that takes viewers deeper into “The Conjuring” universe. DVD edition contains only “By Reason of Demonic Possession” as a special feature.
The 4K UHD Combo Pack will be available for the suggested retail price (SRP) of $44.98; the Blu-ray edition will be available for $34.98 (SRP) and the DVD edition will be available for $29.98 (SRP).
The Fatal Raid (Action)
The Hong Kong action film “The Fatal Raid” will be available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Tuesday Aug. 24, from Well Go USA Entertainment.
Two elite police teams head up a secret operation following a dangerous smuggling ring across the Macau border, but when their presence is discovered, the mission ends in a deadly firefight. Twenty years later, an escort mission brings the survivors back to the scene of the tragedy—and fosters a highly unwelcome reunion.
Action icon Jade Leung (“Black Cat,” “Enemy Shadow”) headlines a cast that also includes Patrick Tam (“Ip Man 3”), Min-Chen Lin (“Vampire Cleanup Department”), Jeana Ho (“iGirl”), Michael Tong (“God of War”) and Kristy Yeung (“Good Bye, My Princess”).
“The Fatal Raid” Blu-ray will be available for $19.98 (SRP) and the DVD will be available for $12.99.
Funhouse (Horror)
“Funhouse,” a chilling, modern-day horror-thriller that pushes the limits of reality TV, arrives On Demand and on DVD Tuesday Aug. 24 from Magnolia Home Entertainment under the Magnet label.
Down and out backup singer and celebrity ex-husband Kasper (Valter Skarsgård, “The Sandhamn Murders”) is invited to compete in the Funhouse, an online ‘Big Brother’ style reality show. Alongside seven other C-list celebrities from around the globe, he will compete for a $5 million prize. To everyone’s surprise, the fun quickly turns into misery when the first challenge leaves one of the contestants brutally murdered.
Special features include a behind-the-scenes featurette on “Funhouse” as well as a visual effects breakdown

Habit (Action Thriller)
Bella Thorne and Gavin Rossdale star in Lionsgate’s action thriller “Habit,” available to own on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Tuesday Aug. 24. Also starring Paris Jackson, Josie Ho and Andreja Pejic, “Habit” follows a street-smart party girl who gets mixed up in a violent drug deal and finds a possible way out by masquerading as a nun.
Jurassic Hunt (Sci-fi Thriller)
The pulse-pounding sci-fi thriller “Jurassic Hunt” arrives on Digital and on DVD Tuesday Aug. 24, from Lionsgate. Courtney Loggins stars as a female adventurer who joins a crew of male trophy hunters in a remote wilderness park where the hunters quickly become the hunted. The film also stars Ruben Pla and Tarkan Dospil.
The Last Matinee (Horror)
Dark Star Pictures and Bloody Disgusting will release the Uruguay-Argentinian horror film, “The Last Matinee,” arriving on VOD, Digital and DVD Tuesday Aug. 24.
The audience attending the last showing of a horror film in a small downtown cinema are terrorized by a murderer who begins to pick them off, one by one. The only person to notice that something strange is going on is the projectionist’s daughter.
Directed by Maxi Contenti (“Muñeco viviente V,” “Neptunia”) from a screenplay by Manuel Facal (“High Five,” “Fiesta Nibiru”) and Contenti, the film stars Luciana Grasso (“El Secreto de Julia”), Ricardo Islas (“El Que No Corre Vuela,” “Bailiwick”), Julieta Spinelli, Franco Duran and Pedro Duarte.
Nashville (Drama)
A newly remastered edition of director Robert Altman’s seminal film “Nashville,” arrives on Blu-ray Tuesday Aug. 24, from Paramount Presents.
Fittingly, “Nashville” is Volume 24 of the Paramount Presents line as the film follows 24 distinct characters with intersecting storylines over five days in the titular city. The phenomenal ensemble cast includes Ned Beatty, Ronee Blakley, Keith Carradine, Karen Black, Geraldine Chaplin, Henry Gibson, Michael Murphy, Lily Tomlin, Shelley Duvall, Scott Glenn, Jeff Goldblum, and Barbara Harris.
The drama remains an essential classic of ‘70s cinema with its complexly textured portrayal and critique of America’s obsession with celebrity and power. Newly remastered from a 4K scan of original elements, the film is presented on Blu-ray with a new featurette entitled “24 Tracks: Robert Altman’s Nashville.” The disc also includes a previously released commentary by Altman.
Occupation: Rainfall (Sci-fi/Action)
Humans and aliens collide in the race to save mankind in “Occupation: Rainfall, available now on Blu-ray (plus Digital), DVD and On Demand, from Lionsgate.
A sequel to the 2018’s “Occupation,” “Occupation: Rainfall” unfolds two years into an intergalactic invasion of Earth, as survivors fight back in a desperate ground war. While casualties mount by the day, the resistance—along with some unexpected allies—uncovers a plot that could bring the war to a decisive end. Now, with the alien invaders hell-bent on making our planet their new home, the race is on to save mankind.
Written and directed by Luke Sparke, the film stars Daniel Giliies (“The Originals,” “The Vampire Diaries”), Dan Ewing (“Home and Away,” “Occupation”), Mark Coles Smith (“Halifax: Retribution,” “Picnic at Hanging Rock”), Temuera Morrison (“Star Wars: Episode II—Attack of the Clones,” “Aquaman”) and Ken Jeong (“Crazy Rich Asians,” “The Hangover” franchise).
Special features include an audio commentary with writer-director Luke Sparke, another audio commentary with Sparke alongside producers Carly and Carmel Imrie, actor Zachary Garred, and visual effects supervisor Alex Becconsall, a “Sydney Escape” featurette and deleted scenes.
Laden with state-of-the-art special effects and impressive creature makeup, “Occupation: Rainfall” will be available on Blu-ray (plus Digital) and DVD for $21.99 (SRP) and $19.98 (SRP), respectively.
A Place in the Sun (Drama)
A newly remastered edition of director George Stevens’ masterwork “A Place in the Sun” arrives on Blu-ray Tuesday Aug. 24, from Paramount Presents.
Montgomery Clift stars as George Eastman, a young man determined to win a place in respectable society and the heart of a beautiful socialite (Elizabeth Taylor). Shelley Winters is the factory girl whose dark secret threatens Eastman’s professional and romantic prospects.
The drama won six Academy Awards and is widely considered one of the finest works of America cinema. Remastered from a 4K film transfer in celebration of its 70th anniversary, the film is presented on Blu-ray with a brand-new Filmmaker Focus featuring film historian Leonard Maltin talking about Stevens and the innovative film techniques he used for this unforgettable story of ambition, passion, and betrayal. The disc also includes previously released bonus content, including commentary by George Stevens, Jr. and Ivan Moffat, retrospective cast and crew interviews, and a segment on George Stevens featuring filmmakers who knew him.

Monogamy: Season 2 (Drama)
The second season of the hit British series “Monogamy” arrives on DVD Tuesday Aug. 24, from Allblk (formerly Urban Movie Channel ‘), an over-the-top SVOD service operated by the AMC Networks.
After making their final decisions to stay together or get a divorce, four couples must deal with the devastating fall out from their impulsive decisions. Past traumas are exposed, and terrible truths revealed in the return of this daring and provocative hit drama.
The “Monogamy: Season 2” on DVD will be available for $16.96 (SRP).
S.W.A.T.: Season 4 (Crime Drama)
“S.W.A.T.: Season 4” will be available on DVD Tuesday Aug. 24, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Set against the backdrop of a global pandemic, the S.W.A.T. team faces challenges like they’ve never experienced before, both personally and professionally. From securing a safe memorial service for a beloved pop star, to saving Guatemalan activists from a hitman, to exposing a white nationalist sympathizer within their own ranks, the team must work against the clock to keep Los Angeles safe. Meanwhile, Hondo’s loyalty is torn between the Black community and his brothers in blue, as he reckons with racial tension in L.A. both past and present.
Street explores his boundaries with his mother and his love life, while Chris grieves an unexpected loss and Luca aids the team from afar. Deacon struggles with the public’s changing attitudes toward police officers, Tan celebrates his love for Bonnie and team friction builds when a chance to work abroad gets competitive.
