Conclave (Drama, Thriller)

After astounding audiences across the nation during its theatrical run, Focus Features’ “Conclave” debuts on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, Dec. 17, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The captivating thriller is also now available to own on Digital and will be available for purchase on 4K UHD Feb. 11, 2025.

Based on the critically acclaimed, best-selling book of the same name, “Conclave” follows one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events — selecting the new pope. Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes, “The Menu”) is tasked with running this covert process after the unexpected death of the beloved Pope. Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders have gathered from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican halls, Lawrence uncovers a trail of deep secrets left in the dead Pope’s wake, secrets which could shake the foundations of the Church.

From the brilliant mind of Edward Berger — director of the 2023 Academy Award winner for Best International Feature Film, “All Quiet on the Western Front” — “Conclave” features an incredible cast, including Stanley Tucci (“Spotlight”), John Lithgow (“3rd Rock from the Sun”) and Isabella Rossellini (“Blue Velvet”). Bonus features on the release include a feature commentary with Berger and a behind-the-scenes look at the mysterious world of “Conclave” — “Sequestered: Inside ‘Conclave’” — where viewers can discover what it took to raise the curtain on one of the most secretive and secluded processes in the world.

Joker: Folie À Deux (Musical, Thriller)

“Joker: Folie à Deux” finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that’s always been inside him.

The film stars Joaquin Phoenix (“Walk the Line”) once again in his Oscar-winning dual role as Arthur Fleck/Joker, opposite Oscar winner Lady Gaga (“A Star Is Born”) as Lee Quinzel. Special features on the 4K UHD, Blu-ray and Digital releases include the four-part longform documentary “Everything Must Go” as well as the featurettes “The Character of Music,” “Live! With Joker,” “Colors of Madness” and “Crafted with Class.”
