HOLLYWOOD-It was a wild night at the World of Wonder Gallery as RuPaul’s Drag Race All Star Jessica Wild hosted the U.S. premiere screening of “Drag Race Mexico” this past June 20, 2023. The red carpet sizzled with the likes of Frankie Grande, Arisce Wanzer, Guillermo Diaz, Oscar Montoya, Jessica Wild, Crystal Methyd, Scarlet Bobo, Ongina and more.

Guests were treated to performances by Jessica Wild while enjoying churros, tacos, margaritas and House of Love drinks.

“Drag Race México” is the thirteenth international adaptation of the American reality competition series RuPaul’s Drag Race. The show is co-hosted by drag queens Valentina and Lolita Banana.

The first Filipino RuPaul’s Drag Race competitor, Ongina, is expecting a lot of drama. “You know the telenovelas are so big in Mexico that I should see some telenovela emotions. I want the up and downs. I want to be captivated by everything,” added Ongina.

Jessica Wild said she is proud to see “Drag Race Mexico” premiere because Mexico is a second home for her. “I’m all the time performing in Mexico. My My Mexican family adores me. I’m Latino and Mexico has the best drag queens,” explained Wild.

With the guests watching the U.S. premiere screening of “Drag Race Mexico,” it is clear that this season will be a thrilling journey of self-expression, creativity, and the celebration of Mexican culture. The show promises to captivate audiences with its vibrant cast, glamorous fashion, and nail-biting competition. Drag Race fans worldwide eagerly await each episode, eager to witness the rise of the next Mexican drag superstar.

“Drag Race Mexico” will premiere on MTV and Paramount Plus in Mexico and Latin America on June 22. Drag Race Mexico S1 also airs every Thursday at 2am ET on WOW Presents Plus.
