HOLLYWOOD-L.A. Comic Con is set to return from October 30 to November 1, 2026, bringing thousands of fans together during the final days of the city’s spooky season. This year’s edition marks the convention’s 15th anniversary.
In its first year, the City of Angels Comic Con was very small compared to the same convention in other cities like San Diego and New York. Regina Carpinelli founded the event with her two brothers and named it “Comikaze Expo,” until Stan Lee blessed the event.
Lee played an important role in the early history of LA Comic Con. He attended the first one in 2011, liked the atmosphere for fans, and later partnered with the convention, which is why, for many years, it was called Stan Lee’s Comic Con.
In a recent interview with Pastrami Nation, L.A. Comic Con CEO Chris DeMoulin said, “From day one, we relentlessly put the fan in the decision we make. I think we’ve grown because we ask the fans what they want. We guests they want to see. What experiences they want to have and we’ve been fortunate to add those.
More than 130,000 people attended the 2025 edition, making it one of the biggest independent pop-culture conventions in the U.S.
In 2026, the guest list includes names like Nicolas Cage and Christopher Lloyd. Plus, some reunions will take place at the event.
For Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul, Bob Odenkirk, Krysten Ritter, Dean Norris, and Giancarlo Esposito will be present. This is going to be Bob Odenkirk’s debut at conventions, which makes everything even more special.
For Star Wars fans, in addition to Hayden Christensen, Temuera Morrison and Daniel Logan will be present, as well as Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and Eman Esfandi for the show Ahsoka.
If you’re a horror fan, this year is going to be particularly special since LA Comic Con is happening at the end of Halloween week, and even the traditional trick-or-treating will be happening inside the convention center.
