The Fast and The Furious: 25th Anniversary Edition (Action, Crime, Thriller)

To celebrate 25 adrenaline-pumping years of “The Fast and The Furious,” Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will debut a newly remastered 4K Ultra HD edition of the film on Tuesday, Aug. 25, enhanced with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for the ultimate home viewing experience. Fans can purchase “The Fast and The Furious: 25th Anniversary Edition” on Digital, as a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc or as a limited-edition 4K Steelbook.

On the turbo-charged streets of Los Angeles, every night is a championship race. With nitro-boosted fury, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films) rules the road, turning all his challengers into dust. “The Fast and The Furious: 25th Anniversary Edition” comes loaded with bonus features, including an all-new, never-before-seen retrospective featuring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez (“Girlfight”), Jordana Brewster (“Dallas”), producer Neal Moritz (the “Sonic the Hedgehog” films) and Meadow Walker (“Fast X”) that was filmed at this year’s Cannes Film Festival — “Riding a Legacy: 25 Years of ‘Fast.’” The special bonus featurette showcases a candid conversation reflecting on the origins and enduring legacy of the original movie. Additionally, fans can enjoy numerous previously released extras, including an audio commentary track with director Rob Cohen (“DragonHeart”); the Ja Rule “Furious” music video; an alternate ending for the film; a Visual Effects Montage; a Storyboard-to-Final Feature Comparison; “The Making of ‘The Fast and The Furious;’” deleted and extended scenes; featurettes on Dom’s Charger, the phenomenon of street racing and tricking out a hot import car; and much, much more.

 

Practical Magic (Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Romance)

Ahead of the theatrical release of its highly anticipated sequel on Sept. 11, “Practical Magic” will be available to purchase for the first time in 4K resolution with High Dynamic Range (HDR) on Digital and as a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

For two sisters from a family of witches in a small, contemporary New England town, falling in love is the trickiest spell of all. They struggle to use their gift for magically guiding fate to overcome their family curse: The men they fall in love with are doomed to an untimely death!

Based off the book of the same name by Alice Hoffman, “Practical Magic” features an all-star cast, including Academy Award winners Sandra Bullock (“The Blind Side”), Nicole Kidman (“The Hours”) and Dianne Wiest (“Bullets Over Broadway,” “Hannah and Her Sisters”). The 4K Ultra HD Digital release of the film contains the all-new special feature, “The Power of ‘Practical Magic,’” where the women who made the film revisit the story, sisterhood and world that turned an unconventional film about witches into a generational touchstone nearly 30 years after “Practical Magic” first cast its spell. The Digital release also includes a previously released commentary track by director Griffin Dunne (“Addicted to Love”), producer Denise Di Novi (“Heathers”), star Sandra Bullock and composer Alan Silvestri (“Avengers: Endgame”). The “Practical Magic” 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc, meanwhile, includes the previously released commentary track and two previously released featurettes. Viewers can go behind the scenes with the cast and crew of “Practical Magic” as they share their insights on bringing Alice Hoffman’s novel to the screen in “Making Magic,” and listen to director Griffin Dunne and producer Denise Di Novi, along with stars Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Aidan Quinn (“Legends of the Fall”) and Goran Visnjic (“ER”), reflect on the joys of bringing “Practical Magic” to life in “Casting the Spell.”
