The Fabelmans (Drama)

Director Steven Spielberg shares a deeply personal portrait of a 20th century American childhood in the semi-autobiographical film “The Fabelmans,” debuting on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, Feb. 14, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Nominated for seven Academy Awards, the film is also now available on Digital.

Rediscover the magic of movies in “The Fabelmans,” a coming-of-age story about a young man uncovering a shattering family secret and the power of film and imagination to help us see the truth about ourselves and each other. With a star-studded cast featuring Michelle Williams (“Manchester by the Sea,” “My Week with Marilyn”), Paul Dano (“The Batman,” “There Will Be Blood”), Seth Rogen (“Steve Jobs,” “Superbad”), Gabriel LaBelle (“The Predator,” “American Gigolo”) and Judd Hirsch (“Uncut Gems,” “Ordinary People”), “The Fabelmans” tells a timeless tale of heartbreak, healing and hope for the dreamer inside all of us.

“The Fabelmans” comes with exclusive bonus content that takes viewers behind the scenes as Spielberg reflects on how the movie was inspired by his own personal story and family in “‘The Fabelmans’: A Personal Journey.” The Blu-ray and Digital releases also include two featurettes that show how the filmmakers and the movie’s all-star cast brought Spielberg’s story to life. In “Family Dynamics,” viewers will discover how Williams, Dano, Rogen and other cast members built a bridge between their on-screen personalities and true-life counterparts, while in “Crafting the World of ‘The Fabelmans,’” viewers will learn how the filmmakers created movie magic while capturing the film’s unique look.

Love on the Ground (Comedy, Drama, Fantasy)

New Wave master and former Cahiers du Cinema editor-in-chief Jacques Rivette’s 1983 French film “Love on the Ground” comes to Blu-ray Tuesday, Feb. 14, with an all-new 4K restoration from Cohen Film Collection.

Jane Birkin and Geraldine Chaplin star as theatre troupe members who are invited by a mysterious playwright/director to perform in a strange mansion. As the rehearsal progresses, secrets are revealed and the line between fiction and reality blurs.

“Love on the Ground” is presented in French with English subtitles. Bonus features on the release include the re-release trailer and an audio commentary track by Richard Peña, director emeritus of the New York Film Festival and professor of film and media studies at Columbia University.

On the Come Up (Comedy, Drama, Music)

Based on the New York Times No. 1 bestselling novel by Angie Thomas, “On the Come Up” debuts on DVD Tuesday, Feb. 14, from Paramount Home Entertainment. The film is also currently available on Digital.

Brianna Jackson (Jamila C. Gray) is a 16-year-old gifted rapper who attempts to take the battle rap scene by storm in order to lift up her family and do right by the legacy of her father, a local hip hop legend whose career was cut short by gang violence. But when her first hit song goes viral for all the wrong reasons, she finds herself torn between the authenticity that got her this far and the false persona that the industry wants to impose upon her.

Extras on the release includes the behind-the-scenes featurette “You Can’t Stop My Come Up” featuring interviews with the cast, filmmakers and author Angie Thomas and the “On the Come Up” lyric video with Lady London, Rapsody and Jamila C. Gray.
