‘Sinners’ Debuts on Home Entertainment

Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Ryan Coogler’s new vision of fear, “Sinners” is now available to own on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The hit supernatural horror thriller is also streaming on HBO Max.

Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (both played by Michael B. Jordan, “Creed”) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

Written and directed by Coogler (“Judas and the Black Messiah”), “Sinners” also stars Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (“True Grit”), Miles Caton, Jack O’Connell (“Back to Black”), Jayme Lawson (“The Woman King”), Omar Miller (“Ballers”) and Delroy Lindo (“Get Shorty”). The film is presented with expanded aspect ratio sequences, allowing viewers to see both 1.78:1 and 2.76:1 aspect ratios, as intended by the filmmaker for home viewing.

The 4K UHD, Blu-ray and Digital releases of “Sinners” feature five behind-the-scenes featurettes as well as seven deleted scenes. Viewers can join director Ryan Coogler as he makes his most personal and powerful film yet in “Dancing with the Devil: The Making of ‘Sinners;’” explore the backdrop of Hoodoo in the deep south with professor Yvonne Chireau and hear how its beliefs and traditions in spirituality, ancestors, the hereafter and defense against evil informed the world and characters of “Sinners” in “Spirits of the Deep South;”​ go through the development, creation and portrayal of the Smokestack Twins with Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler in “Thicker Than Blood: Becoming the Smokestack Twins;” learn about the musical landscape of the film with Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson (“Black Panther,” “Oppenheimer”) in “Blues in the Night: The Music of ‘Sinners;’” and listen to creature makeup FX designer Mike Fontaine (“The Batman”) reveal the secrets behind the supernatural horrors that terrorize the Juke, Coogler’s fresh take on vampires, and the various gore and blood effects used throughout the movie in “Wages of Sin: The Creature FX of ‘Sinners.’”
