Alone with You (Horror)
“Alone with You” is available now on DVD, On Demand and Digital, from The Avenue.
The film stars Emily Bennett (“King of Knives”), Emma Myles (“Orange Is the New Black”), Dora Madison (“Friday Night Lights”) and Barbara Crampton (“You’re Next”). It was written and directed by Bennett and Justin Brooks in their feature film debut and produced by Andrew Corkin (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”) and Theo James (“Divergent”) under their Untapped banner.
As a young woman painstakingly prepares a romantic homecoming for her girlfriend, their apartment begins to feel more like a tomb when voices, shadows, and hallucinations reveal a truth she has been unwilling to face.
Apex (Action Thriller)
RLJE Films, a unit of AMC Networks, has released “Apex” on DVD and Blu-ray.
Directed by Edward Drake (“Cosmic Sin,” “Breach”) and co-written by Corey Large (“The Ninth Passenger”) and Drake, the film stars Neal McDonough (“Yellowstone,” “Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City”), Bruce Willis (the “Die Hard” movies, “The Sixth Sense”), Lochlyn Munro (“Riverdale”), Megan Peta Hill (“Open Water 3”) and Trevor Gretzky (“Spiral”).
Serving a life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit, ex-cop Thomas Malone is offered a chance at freedom if he can survive a deadly game of Apex. Six hunters pay for the pleasure of hunting another human on a remote island, but once Malone arrives all hell breaks loose. Laying traps and playing mind games, Malone tries to turn the tables and fight for his life and his future.
Encanto (Animated Musical)
The music-filled “Encanto” is available now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD. It marks the 60th animated feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Filled with all-new songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the animated feature tells the tale of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family living in a magical house in the mountains of Colombia. But when Mirabel, the only ordinary Madrigal, discovers the magic surrounding their home is in danger, she may be her family’s last hope.
The cast includes Stephanie Beatriz as Mirabel, María Cecilia Botero as Abuela Alma, John Leguizamo as Bruno, Mauro Castillo as Félix, Jessica Darrow as Luisa, Angie Cepeda as Julieta, Carolina Gaitán as Pepa, Diane Guerrero as Isabela, Wilmer Valderrama as Agustín, Rhenzy Feliz as Camilo, Ravi Cabot-Conyers as Antonio and Adassa as Dolores.
Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, the film was co-directed by Charise Castro Smith by a screenplay she wrote with Bush.
Extras include the all-new animated short “Far from the Tree,” a sing-along movie version, never-before-seen bonus features and deleted scenes.
“Encanto” also is available now on HD Digital and 4K UHD Digital.
Gintama The Very Final (Anime)
The third and concluding action-packed film of the popular “Gintama” anime franchise, “Gintama The Very Final” will be released in a Blu-ray + DVD combo pack is available now from Eleven Arts and Shout! Factory.
Created by Hideaki Sorachi, the new feature film makes its North American home entertainment debut following a theatrical release late last year.
Available for the first time in North America, the combo pack boasts an exciting movie presentation (featuring both the English voice cast and the original Japanese audio with English subtitles) and an exclusive 16-page booklet packed with character art and storyboards.
Fans who pre-order “Gintama The Very Final” Blu-ray + DVD combo pack from Shout! Factory will receive an exclusive poster, while supplies last.
Directed by Chizuru Miyawaki, “Gintama The Very Final” adapts some of the final moments of the original manga with new elements specifically crafted for the film. It also is available now on digital download.
King Richard (Biopic)
Experience the true, inspiring story of two of the world’s greatest sports legends as “King Richard” is now available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

La Dolce Vita (Drama)

DC’s Stargirl: The Complete Second Season (Action Fantasy)
It’s time to suit up and get ready to face the darkness with the release of “DC’s Stargirl: The Complete Second Season” on Blu-ray and DVD, from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
The home entertainment editions include all 13 episodes from the second season plus a featurette and gag reel.
“DC’s Stargirl” follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger, “Bella & the Bulldogs,” “All Night”) and her stepfather Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson, “Old School,” “Roadies”) as she leads an unlikely group of young heroes to take on the legacy of DC’s very first Super Hero team, the Justice Society of America. In the action-filled second season, Courtney and her friends take on one of the most frightening adversaries in DC’s mythology—the dark entity of corruption known as Eclipso (Nick Tarabay, “Sparticus”).
With Blu-ray’s unsurpassed picture and sound, “DC’s Stargirl: The Complete Second Season” Blu-ray release will include 1080p Full HD Video with DTS-HD Master Audio for English 5.1. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (Action Horror)
Witness the beginning of evil when “Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” is now available on Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
In 2006, American federal agent Leon S. Kennedy is invited to the White House to investigate a hacking incident. During the investigation, he encounters a horde of zombies in a mysterious attack against the President. Meanwhile, TerraSave staff member Claire Redfield uncovers a strange image drawn by a young boy in a country she visited. Haunted by this drawing, which appears to be of a victim of viral infection, Claire starts her own investigation. Claire visits the White House and has a chance reunion with Leon. Together, Leon and Claire investigate the connection between the White House attack and strange drawing and uncover a threat that will shake the nation to its very core.
The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray include more than 20 minutes of all-new featurettes, exploring the characters, creatures and creepy locations of Raccoon City as well as the process of adapting the first two games of the massively popular video game franchise for the big screen. A Limited Edition 4K Steelbook, available at major retailers while supplies last, includes five collectible poster cards featuring incredible original artwork from winners of a worldwide fan art contest.
“Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” stars Nick Apostolides, Stephanie Panisello, Ray Chase and Jona Xiao. Eiichiro Hasumi directed the film which he co-wrote with Shogo Mutoh.
