Alienoid: Return to the Future (Action, Fantasy, Sci-Fi)

The sequel to the mind-bending, time-traveling, sci-fi action adventure “Alienoid​,” “Alienoid: Return to the Future” lands on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, July 30, from Well Go USA Entertainment. The South Korean film is also currently available on Digital.

After locating the Divine Blade, a shaman and a modern-day woman race through time to battle a powerful alien commander intent on destroying mankind in part two of writer/director Choi Dong-hoon’s (“The Thieves”) epic sci-fi action franchise.

Bonus features on the release include a making-of featurette, a character trailer and the film’s trailer. The movie is presented in Korean with an English language track also available.

Back to Black (Biography, Drama, Music)

The influential film about pop culture icon Amy Winehouse, “Back to Black” is now available to own on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The film is also currently streaming on Peacock.

“Back to Black” is the extraordinary story of Amy Winehouse’s (Marisa Abela, “Industry”) rise to fame, from her early days in Camden through the making of her groundbreaking album that catapulted Winehouse to global superstardom. Told through Amy’s eyes and inspired by her deeply personal lyrics, the film explores and embraces the many layers of the iconic artist and the tumultuous love story at the center of one of the most legendary albums of all time: Back to Black.

Bonus features on the release include two featurettes that discuss everything from the importance of music authenticity in the film (“Music as the Heartbeat”) to the extensive training Abela went through to bring the essence of Amy Winehouse to the screen (“Transforming into an Icon”) as well as a feature commentary by the movie’s director, Sam Taylor-Johnson (“Fifty Shades of Grey”).

Based on DC’s iconic comic book limited series “Crisis on Infinite Earths” by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, “Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths — Part Three” is now available to own on Blu-ray, Digital and as a limited-edition 4K UHD SteelBook from Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.

The all-new, action-packed DC animated film features some of DC’s most famous superheroes from multiple universes — including Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman — who come together to stop an impending threat of doom and destruction. Sting (Horror, Sci-Fi, Thriller)

An elevated spin on the creature horror genre for contemporary audiences, the Australian horror-thriller “Sting” debuts on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, July 30, from Well Go USA Entertainment. The film is also currently available to own on Digital.

After raising an unnervingly talented spider in secret, 12-year-old Charlotte (Alyla Browne, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”) must face the facts about her pet — and fight for her family’s survival — when the once-charming creature rapidly transforms into a giant, flesh-eating monster.

Written and directed by Kiah Roache-Turner (“Wyrmwood: Apocalypse”), with the monster special effects by the Academy Award-winning Weta Workshop (“King Kong”), “Sting” also stars Penelope Mitchell (“Hellboy”), Ryan Corr (“Holding the Man”) and Jermaine Fowler (“Coming 2 America”).
