A Minecraft Movie (Action, Adventure, Comedy)

The first-ever big screen, live-action adaptation of the best-selling video game of all time, “A Minecraft Movie” debuts on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, June 24, from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The BLOCKbuster action comedy directed by Jared Hess (“Napoleon Dynamite”) is also now available to own on Digital and is currently streaming on Max.

Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity doesn’t just help you craft, it’s essential to one’s survival! Four misfits — Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Jason Momoa, “Aquaman”), Henry (Sebastian Hansen, “Just Mercy”), Natalie (Emma Myers, “Wednesday”) and Dawn (Danielle Brooks, “The Color Purple”) — find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they’ll have to master this world (and protect it from evil things like Piglins and Zombies) while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected, expert crafter, Steve (Jack Black, “School of Rock”). Together, their adventure will challenge all five to be bold and to reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative — the very skills they need to thrive back in the real world.

Special features on the 4K UHD, Blu-ray and Digital releases of “A Minecraft Movie” include the “My Name is Earl” parody “Marlene + Nitwit” and the featurettes “Building the World of Minecraft: Block Party,” “Creepers, Zombies and Endermen Oh My!,” “‘A Minecraft Movie’: Block Beats” and “‘A Minecraft Movie’: Pixel Pals.” Viewers can learn insights into the film’s music, explore the unique mobs in the movie and more.

 

Snow White (Adventure, Family, Fantasy, Musical, Romance)

“Snow White,” the vibrant live-action musical reimagining of Walt Disney’s groundbreaking full-length animated classic, debuts on Blu-ray and DVD as well as in a collectible limited-edition 4K UHD SteelBook with radiant artwork and packaging Tuesday, June 24, from Disney. The film is also now available to own on Digital and is currently streaming on Disney+.

Experience the timeless adventure as Snow White (Rachel Zegler, “West Side Story”) journeys into magical woods to escape her stepmother, the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot, “Wonder Woman”), and meets the beloved Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, Dopey, Grumpy and Doc, who join her quest to restore the kingdom and bring kindness to the land.

“Snow White” sweeps audiences of all ages into an adventure that blends nostalgia, notable new visuals and a memorable soundtrack, taking storytelling to all new fairytale heights.
