RLJE Films is working with the ArcLight on an advance pop-up screening of “The Tax Collector,” Thursday, July 30 at the Vineland Drive-in, 443 N. Vineland Ave, City of Industry, Calif. David (Bobby Soto, “Narcos: Mexico”) and Creeper (Shia LaBeouf, “Honey Boy,” “Transformers” franchise), are “tax collectors” for the crime lord Wizard, collecting his cut from the profits of local gangs’ illicit dealings. But when Wizard’s old rival returns to Los Angeles from Mexico, the business is upended, and David finds himself desperate to protect what matters more to him than anything else: his family. George Lopez, Cheyenne Rae Hernandez and Cinthya Carmona also star in this action thriller.
