“Mortal Kombat II” debuts on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, July 28, from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The latest high-stakes installment in the blockbuster video game franchise is also now available to own on Digital and is currently streaming on HBO Max.

In the follow-up to the explosive 2021 cinematic adventure, the fan-favorite champions — now backed by Johnny Cage (Karl Urban, “Star Trek”) himself — face off in a final, lawless tournament to end the reign of Shao Kahn (Martyn Ford, “F9: The Fast Saga”), a tyrant who threatens the very existence of Earthrealm and its defenders.
