Evil Dead Burn (Horror)

“Evil Dead Burn,” the franchise’s most savage and terrifying ride to date, is now available to own on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. One by one they are transformed into Deadites, turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell, and she comes to discover that the vows she took in life live on — even in death.

“Evil Dead Burn” stars Souheila Yacoub (“Dune: Part Two”), Tandi Wright (“Pearl”), Hunter Doohan (“Wednesday”), Luciane Buchanan (“The Night Agent”), Erroll Shand (“The Clearing”) and Maude Davey (“The Newsreader”). The 4K UHD, Blu-ray and Digital releases of the film contain three bonus features. Viewers can listen to director Sébastien Vanicek (“Infested”) and his crew explore how the film honors the franchise’s ever evolving legacy while introducing a daring new vision in “‘Evil Dead:’ Blazing the Trail;” dive into the movie’s most gripping scene as the cast and crew detail the intense focus and synergy required to create the complex one-shot sequence in “The Hot Shot: ‘Evil Dead Burn’s’ One-Shot Sequence;” and explore the fire-fueled chaos of “Evil Dead Burn” by witnessing how the stunts and effects teams brought the film’s physical horror to life in “This One’s Gonna Burn.”

 

Super Troopers 3 (Comedy, Crime, Mystery)

Everyone’s favorite cops are back for more outrageous hijinks, as Searchlight Pictures’ “Super Troopers 3” is now available to own on Digital and as part of a three-movie “Super Troopers” Digital collection bundle from Walt Disney Studios. The comedy arrives on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, Nov. 3.

The third installment of the cult comedy franchise from the Broken Lizard crew finds the Super Troopers once again caught between questionable police work and complete mayhem. When Farva’s (Kevin Heffernan, “Club Dread”) wildly over-the-top Indian engagement to Thorny’s (Jay Chandrasekhar, “Beerfest”) sister spirals into chaos, the Super Troopers must navigate Thorny’s schemes to break up the relationship while trying to crack a pernicious new drug ring – all to save the day and maybe the wedding itself.

Bonus features on the Digital and Blu-ray releases of the film include Super Bloopers, a five-minute compilation of the funniest outtakes from “Super Troopers 3,” and a two-minute “Set Tour” featurette where actor Paul Soter (Foster) takes viewers behind the scenes of the “Super Troopers 3” set. Two brief deleted scenes are also included on the Digital and Blu-ray releases. The troopers play a prank on Farva, using a voice modulator to convince him to lick their EV’s steering wheel, in “Farva’s in the House,” and Captain Todd (Nat Faxon, “The Conners”) struggles to contain his tears after eating a New Delhi Nose Pepper at Farva’s wedding in “New Delhi Nose Pepper.”
