From Orion Pictures comes “Every Day,” available on DVD Tuesday June 5. Directed by Michael Sucsy (“The Vow”), the romantic drama is based on David Levithan’s acclaimed bestselling novel of the same name.
Rhiannon is a 16-year old girl who falls in love with a mysterious soul named “A” who inhabits a different body every day. Feeling an unmatched connection, Rhiannon and A work each day to find each other, not knowing what or who the next day will bring. The more the two fall in love, the more the realities of loving someone who is a different person every 24 hours takes a toll, leaving Rhiannon and A to face the hardest decision either has ever had to make.
“Every Day” stars Angourie Rice (“The Nice Guys,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming”) and Justice Smith (“Paper Towns,” “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”) with Debby Ryan (“Insatiable,” “Sing It!”) and Maria Bello (“A History of Violence,” “Coyote Ugly”).
Sucsy directed from a screenplay by Jesse Andrews and produced by Christian Grass, Paul Trijbits, Anthony Bregman and Peter Cron. The executive producers are Marina Brackenbury, Stefanie Azpiazu, Daniel Bekerman, Claudia Bluemhuber, Gerd Schepers and Gero Bauknecht.
“Every Day” will be available on Blu-ray for $35.99 and DVD for $28.98 SRP. The Blu-ray includes special features that take the viewer behind the scenes for an in-depth examination of love. The film also is available on Digital Download.
The Debt Collector
Two small-time enforcers find themselves in big-time trouble in the hard-hitting action-comedy “The Debt Collector,” available on DVD and Digital Tuesday June 5 from Archstone Distribution via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Scott Adkins (“Accident Man”, “The Expendables 2”), teams up with Louis Mandylor (“My Big Fat Greek Wedding” films, “In the Eyes of a Killer”) for this darkly hilarious and action-packed tale of a classically trained martial artist (Adkins) who goes to work as a debt collector for the mob—a job that seems easy enough until one “client” pulls him into a situation more dangerous and deadly than he ever expected.
Directed by stuntman-turned-filmmaker Jesse V. Embark on the latest journey of TNT’s hit series “The Last Ship: The Complete Fourth Season,” arriving on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday June 5. From blockbuster filmmaker and executive producer Michael Bay (“Transformers” franchise), the fight to save mankind aboard The Navy destroyer U.S.S. Nathan James continues with an all-star cast including Eric Dane, Bridget Regan and Adam Baldwin.
Featuring all 10 episodes from the latest season, the Blu-ray and DVD includes 440 minutes of the addictive drama and must-see bonus features. “The Last Ship: The Complete Fourth Season” also stars Charles Parnell (“Pariah”), Travis Van Winkle (“Hart of Dixie”), Marissa Neitling (“Leverage”), Christina Elmore (“Fruitvale Station”), Jocko Sims (“Masters of Sex”), Bren Foster (“Days of Our Lives”) and Kevin Michael Martin. The series is produced by Turner’s Studio T in association with Platinum Dunes, whose partners—Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form—serve as executive producers. Co-creators Hank Steinberg and Steven Kane also serve as executive producers, along with director Paul Holahan. Kane serves as showrunner for seasons four and five, having previously served alongside Steinberg for the first three seasons.
