HOLLYWOOD—Universal Studios Hollywood recently premiered a commercial for its new thrill ride “Fast & Furious—Supercharged,” based on the highly successful “Fast & Furious” film franchise during the pre-game show of the Super Bowl. The commercial featured the original cast from the franchise – Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne Johnson who also star in the new ride. The high-octane, adrenaline-fueled thrill ride will be part of the new grand finale to the world-famous Studio Tour.
The ride brings together the sophisticated hyper-realistic special effects with a state-of-the-art 3D audio system and 3D-HD imagery, projected onto the world’s longest and most expansive 360-degree screen that will encompass the Studio Tour guests. Exclusive content shot with cast members of the “Fast & Furious” franchise will be shown throughout the tour culminating with big action sequences that send guests racing through the streets of Los Angeles as they feel like they are traveling in speeds in excess of 120 miles per hour.
The “Fast & Furious—Supercharged” tour and ride debuts at Universal Studios Hollywood this summer.
