Acclaimed producer J.J. Abrams and up-and-coming director Dan Trachtenberg deliver a suspenseful sci-fi adventure when “10 Cloverfield Lane” debuts on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and On Demand Tuesday June 14, from Paramount Home Media Distribution. The film also is available on Digital HD.

After a catastrophic car crash, a young woman (Mary Elizabeth Winstead, “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World”) wakes up in a survivalist’s (John Goodman, “Argo”) underground bunker. He claims to have saved her from an apocalyptic attack that has left the outside world uninhabitable. His theories are supported by a mysterious stranger who is in the bunker with them (John Gallagher, Jr., “The Newsroom”), but as his increasingly suspicious actions lead her to question his motives, she’ll have to escape in order to discover the truth.

The Combo Pack includes Digital HD, commentary with Trachtenberg and Abrams, and more than 30 minutes of special features, including an extensive look behind-the-scenes with Abrams and the cast as they revisit the legacy of 2008’s “Cloverfield” and discuss how “10 Cloverfield Lane” went from script to production. Taron Egerton co-stars alongside Academy Award nominee Hugh Jackman (“Les Miserables”) in “Eddie the Eagle,” available Tuesday June 14 in a Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD) and DVD (with Digital HD). This high-flying, feel-good sports drama from across the pond was inspired by true events. Egerton plays Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards, an unlikely but courageous British ski jumper who never stopped believing in himself—even as an entire nation was counting him out. With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach (Jackman), the lovable underdog wins the hearts of fans around the world by making an unforgettable showing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Extras include a making-of documentary and more. “Eddie the Eagle” also is available on Digital HD.

The intense action thriller “Gridlocked” arrives on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD Tuesday June 14 from Magnolia Home Entertainment under its Magnet label. Director Allan Ungar (“Tapped Out”) brings the film to life with extreme fight scenes and a surprising twist. Dominic Purcell (“Prison Break”) is joined in combat by Cody Hackman (“Tapped Out”), Trish Stratus (“WWF Raw”), Vinnie Jones (“X-Men: The Last Stand”), along with legendary action stars Stephen Lang (“Avatar”) and Danny Glover (“Lethal Weapon” franchise) in this high-octane film.

After being injured while on duty, NYPD SWAT leader David Hendrix (Purcell) is paired with bad boy celebrity Brody Walker (Hackman), on a mandatory ride-along as a requirement for his probation. Soon, the two are forced to unite with a team of Special Forces officers to protect a facility that is targeted by mercenaries. The extras include a behind-the-scenes featurette of all the fight sequences, deleted scenes, blooper reels and more. The Blu-ray and the DVD editions will be available for a suggested retail price of $29.98 and $26.98, respectively.

“The Martian Extended Edition” is available on Digital HD, DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD disc. This extended edition contains more than two hours of special features that will give viewers even more reasons to “Bring Him Home.”

The extended edition of this Academy Award-nominated outer-space adventure starring Matt Damon as a stranded astronaut includes an extended cut featuring 10 minutes of brand new footage not shown in theaters as well as more than two hours of behind-the-scenes content. Included in the new material is audio commentary by renowned director Ridley Scott, writer/executive producer Drew Goddard and author of the novel Andy Weir. There also is a documentary of the science behind recreating Mars for the film; interviews with NASA specialists and engineers; and a Q&A panel discussion about the planned journey to mars featuring commentary from NASA experts.

A family lives an idyllic existence abroad until a tragic accident takes the life of their young son in the thriller “The Other Side of the Door,” available on Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD), DVD and Digital HD. The supernatural thriller stars Sarah Wayne Callies (“The Walking Dead”) and Jeremy Sisto (“Six Feet Under”).

An inconsolable mother (Callies) learns of an ancient ritual that will bring him back to say a final goodbye.  She travels to an ancient temple, where a door serves as a mysterious portal between two worlds.  But when she disobeys a sacred warning to never open that door, she upsets the balance between life and death. Extras include six deleted scenes, a making-of featurette and more.

On Tuesday June 14, the Shout! Factory Kids will release the animated summer movie adventure “Quackerz” on Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, which includes a 2D Blu-ray version as well as the DVD and a digital copy. The comedy also can be seen in select theaters in Los Angeles.

The comedy brings to life the tale of unlikely clucking heroes with action, comedy, heart and a bit of romance with an all-star voice cast including Robbie Daymond (Nickelodeon’s “Get Blake!”), Michael Gross (“Family Ties”), Enn Reitel (“The Adventures of Tintin”), Andrea Becker (“Storage Wars: New York”), Alanna Ubach (“Legally Blonde”) and Jimmie Wood (“The Wild Thornberrys”).

It’s time for tall tales and small kindnesses in “Strawberry Shortcake Campberry Stories” three animated stories, available on DVD and Digital HD Tuesday June 14. Strawberry Shortcake and her pals are on their annual campout in Very Beautiful Meadow when they decide to see who can tell the most outrageous story. Plum, Cherry and Orange get things started with different made-up reasons to explain why they’re late to the party. Sour tells everyone an imagined adventure involving her and her sister, Sweet. And Apple tells the campers about a thrilling cross-country race, only she insists it really happened.

Extras include printable coloring pages and activity sheet, the best of Sweet Sunshine Adventures, Strawberry Shortcake and Friends and Berry Sweet Mash-ups.

When the peaceful island of the Mandarin Ducks is mistakenly invaded by the Military Mallards, a conflict flares up between the Mandarin Emperor and the Mallard Commander. Longway, the Emperor’s son, and Erica, the daughter of the Mallard Commander, meet and are instantly attracted to one another. While their fathers fight each other, the wicked Ms. Knout concocts a scheme to destroy the son. Special features include storyboards, animatics and a behind-the-scenes featurette. The animated comedy also is available Tuesday on digital and all major VOD platforms.

The critically acclaimed British procedural crime drama “Suspects” is available Tuesday June 14 on DVD. Both Series One & Two are packaged in a three-disc set. Set in London, “Suspects” is shot in the style of a fly-on-the-wall documentary, with the cast challenged to create its own dialogue. Fay Ripley (“New Tricks”), Damien Molony (“Being Human”) and Clare-Hope Ashitey (“Children of Men”) star as East London CID officers. Having premiered on Acorn TV, the three-disc set includes all nine episodes, and is available for a suggested retail price of $49.99.

“Birds of a Feather, Set 1,” a British sitcom which returned to television after a 15-year hiatus, is available Tuesday June 14 on DVD. The lives of sisters Sharon (Pauline Quirke, “Broadchurch”) and Tracey (Linda Robson, “Shine on Harvey Moon”) are never the same after their husbands are convicted of armed robbery and sent to prison. Forced to live together, the sisters become good—if begrudging—friends with their man-eating neighbor Dorien Green (Lesley Joseph, “Night & Day”). Together with their families, Sharon and Tracey face the dramas, tragedies, stresses, and strains of keeping up with the world, without their husbands’ support. The DVD is available for an SRP of $34.99. Premiered on Acorn TV.

For the first time on Blu-ray, “The X-Files: The Event Series” features all six episodes of this sci-fi series is available Tuesday June 14. Assigned the FBI’s most challenging cases, special agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) face terrifying danger and bizarre phenomena as they struggle to unravel deadly conspiracies and solve paranormal mysteries. While Mulder grapples to comprehend the paranormal in every case, Scully seeks to solve their mysteries through science alone. As the series progresses, secrets about a vast and horrifying conspiracy unfold, culminating in revelations about aliens, the U.S. government, and humanity itself in the “The X-Files: The Event Series.” Featuring more than 25 hours of extras, including documentaries and commentary by creator Chris Carter and the production team as well as special effects sequences, deleted scenes and an in-depth look behind the scenes of this collection.

HBO’s “Ballers: The Complete First Season” is set to make its home entertainment debut Tuesday June 14. Starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the comedy follows a group of past and present football players trying to figure out where the game ends and life begins, all while keeping their cool and having each other’s backs. The series will be available on Blu-ray with Digital HD (suggested retail price $19.95) and DVD (suggested retail price $14.95) and includes behind-the-scenes looks into all 10 episodes.

Johnson plays Spencer Strasmore, a retired football superstar, who is trying to reinvent himself as a financial manager for current players in sun-soaked Miami. His inner circle includes Ricky (John David Washington, former pro-football player), a talented but volatile wide receiver who seeks to balance his off-field antics with his passion for the game; Charles (Omar Miller), a reluctantly retired lineman who’s finding it hard to adjust to civilian life; and Vernon (Donovan Carter), a player with a rookie contract, whose promise never to forget “where he came from” brings scores of hangers-on into his life, and lands him in big financial trouble. Though they’re pros when it comes to playing the game, each one has a harder time navigating life off the field.

From the company that brought you the Academy Award-nominated film, “Shaun the Sheep Movie,” comes the all-new animated TV special “Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas” available on DVD (plus Digital) and Digital HD on Tuesday June 14 from Lionsgate. Full of Aardman’s signature slapstick comedy that appeals to audiences of all ages, “Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas” DVD includes bonus episodes and will be available for a suggested retail price of $14.98.
