HOLLYWOOD—American audiences were introduced to British comedian Russell Brand when he played hedonist rocker Aldous Snow in 2008’s “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” a character he reprised two years later in “Get Him to the Greek.”
Controversial and outspoken, Brand seems like the perfect host for a late night talk show. That is, if the audience can understand his unique stream-of-consciousness discourse.
