HOLLYWOOD—Recently called “The greatest spy show ever made,” the original “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy” debuts on Blu-ray on April 24 with new extras, including deleted scenes and a lengthy, new interview with director John Irvin. John le Carré’s classic Cold War-era spy drama stars Alec Guinness (Obi-Wan Kenobi in “Star Wars”) as George Smiley in the universally acclaimed 1979 BBC miniseries.
This Blu-ray 2-disc set includes six episodes, along with an exclusive 29-minute director’s interview, a 27-minute interview with John le Carre, deleted scenes, subtitles, and more. It retails for $59.99, and is available at AcornOnline.com.
